How do you play Football Wordle?
Guess the hidden NFL player’s surname in six tries. After each guess, a green tile means the letter is in the right spot, gold means it’s in the name but somewhere else, and grey means it isn’t in the name at all. Every guess has to be a real football legend’s surname of the right length.
Is it the same word for everyone?
Yes — one shared answer a day, resetting at midnight Eastern, so streaks and the emoji share grid are comparable.
Who can the answer be?
Legends only — every answer is a real all-time great, and the reveal names exactly who it was with a one-line résumé. No obscure “who?” names.
What’s the difference from Guess the Football Player?
Wordle is letters — you spell the surname. Guess the NFL player is attributes — you name players and read era, team and honor clues. Same pool of legends, two different daily puzzles.
